Inland Operations Coordinator

We are looking for an Inland Operations Coordinator for Stolt Tank Containers (STC). 
In the summer of 2023, we opened our new office in Ljubljana, and we are continuously growing.
Stolt Tank Containers (STC) is a leading provider of door-to-door transportation services for bulk- liquid chemicals and food-grade products. With a fleet of more than 50,000 tank containers, STC is the only operator with its own worldwide network of 22 owned and joint venture depots. What you will be doing
As Inland Operations Coordinator, you are responsible for a variety of tasks on a complex and more experienced level. These tasks include efficiently managing interactions with suppliers and customers, maintaining records, and ensuring that operations run smoothly while adhering to safety regulations. 
As part of your responsibilities, you will also assist the Operations Team Leads with various projects as they arise and maintain clear and precise communication with local operational teams. Furthermore, you are expected to fully embrace and uphold STC's policies, mission, and vision, actively contributing to the success of the group.

Key responsibilities

•    Plan, coordinate and oversee the inland element of exports/imports to ensure timely loading and delivery.

•    Checking the processing of movements/shipments and tracking orders.

•    Entering the required data on the reservation list. Providing timely information for transport coordinators.

•    Ensuring clear and effective communication with EMEA Operations department.

•    Coordinating the timely and accurate processing, issue, and distribution of transport documentation for outbound shipments.

•    Control of shipments and ensure timely issue and payment of the carrier's waybills.

•    Processing documentation in accordance with quality procedures.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree or 2 years of experience working in a logistics/shipping company in a similar role is preferred, ideally working in an international environment.

•    Excellent work quality and accuracy combined with a problem-solving attitude.

•    Fluency in English. Speaking fluent Slovenian is a plus, and a third language (Italian or Arabic) is also preferred.

•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, combined with the ability of working in s team setting priorities and goals. 

•    Excellent computer skills, particularly with MS Office.
