GenePlanet, a global leader in the field of preventive genetic tests and advanced oncology screening, is seeking an ambitious, results-oriented Medical Sales Representative to develop and manage our sales channels and partnerships across Slovenia. This role is crucial for establishing and growing the adoption of our innovative oncology test within key market segments.
TasksYour primary responsibilities will be field-based, focusing on hands-on partner visits and direct promotion:
Targeted Channel Sales: Execute the sales strategy across critical distribution channels, including:
Medical Centers & Private Clinics: Establish and maintain relationships to maximize direct patient access to the test.
Insurance & Corporate Health Programs: promote the value proposition to local insurance representatives and corporate wellness managers.
Wellness Programs: Identify and engage with local wellness and executive health screening providers to integrate our oncology test into their offerings.
Field Sales Execution: Conduct regular, focused visits to partner medical centers, clinics, and laboratories to promote the test, manage accounts, and secure new business.
Product Promotion & Education: Provide detailed, engaging presentations and training to external medical partners and staff, ensuring a thorough understanding of the test's clinical value and usage.
Performance & Reporting: Meet and exceed predefined quarterly and annual sales targets, maintain accurate records of field activities, and provide regular feedback on market to headquarters.
Network Activation & Management: Leverage your existing network of oncologists and key medical professionals to quickly introduce, promote, and drive utilization of our oncology test.
Qualifications and Experience:
To succeed in this field-focused role, you should possess:
- 5 years of successful, hands-on experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales, with focus on oncology
- Established Network: A verifiable, active network of professional contacts, including oncologists and key medical stakeholders in Slovenia
- Proven Field Skills: Demonstrated excellence in closing deals, account management, and providing high-quality educational support to medical staff.
- High Autonomy: Ability to manage your territory effectively, prioritize visits, and work independently to achieve sales goals.
- Goal oriented
- Great communication, negotiation skills and building trust-based relationships with medical professionals.
- High level proficiency in English
- A valid driving licence and proficiency with MS Office tools.
