We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join our team

Better
we are building software solutions that help medical teams improve patient care. Our advanced open-data medical platform and healthcare applications already support over 30 million patients' electronic health records worldwide, making data quality our number one priority.

This is where
you
come in as our new Senior Business Analyst. You will play a key role in analysing, designing, and supporting the development of business solutions across all
Better
platform projects. Additionally, you will ensure the accurate gathering and translation of business requirements into functional specifications, maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle, a strong relationship with the customer and the seeing through of projects throughout the lifecycle into post go live support.

Skills and expertise you need to excel in this position:

  • Fluency in Slovenian
    is a mandatory requirement, as the role entails direct collaboration with our Slovenian clientele
  • 3-5 years
    of experience as a Business Analyst in IT project delivery, preferably in healthcare IT and enterprise software

How will you drive success in this role through your daily actions

  • Develop expertise in
    the Better
    solution, including core functionalities, OpenEHR concepts, platform components,
    and Better
    Studio to create tailored solutions with solution architects and clinical analysts
  • Conduct business analysis to identify customer needs, challenges, and opportunities, ensuring structured requirements documentation and clear communication between stakeholders and the IT development team
  • Create and maintain business solution proposals, functional specs, process flows, and use cases using tools like UML and Figma, while preparing solution materials (docs, resources, videos) for project and BAU workflows
  • Manage project communication, updating project managers on risks, issues, and progress, supporting documentation, timelines, and deliverables to ensure smooth execution
  • Refine solutions to meet customer expectations through software demos, workshops, and feedback collection, while preparing statements of work (SOW) and aligning feature requests with business needs
  • Support sales teams with estimations, proposals, and tender responses, contributing to business growth and customer engagement
  • Mentor junior colleagues and foster a collaborative team environment while driving continuous process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness
