Billing Analyst

What will you do?

Analyze product usage and billing data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement
Spot discrepancies and work cross-functionally to investigate and resolve billing concerns
Recommend and implement practical process improvements to streamline invoicing
Collaborate with customer support, product, finance, and engineering to ensure data accuracy and clear reporting
Generate and distribute accurate invoices, statements, and internal billing reports
Respond to customer billing inquiries with empathy and clarity
Own account reconciliations and help maintain up-to-date, audit-ready billing records
Monitor accounts receivable, transactions, and financial data flows across systems
Help improve internal documentation and create more self-serve billing workflows
Support other finance and accounting activities as needed

What will you bring?

3+ years of experience in a Billing Analyst or similar role
Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and other data analysis tools
Strong analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail
Ability to extract insights from data and turn them into action
Experience working with billing or subscription software (e.g. Chargebee, Zuora, Braintree, or similar)
Excellent communication skills that allow you to explain complex billing issues clearly to others
Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environments

Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Looker
Hands-on experience with Netsuite
