SALES MANAGER

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced
Sales Manager
to lead and manage sales activities for
capital goods
projects
. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of B2B technical sales, long sales cycles, and project-based capital equipment procurement. The ideal candidate will also be responsible for identifying business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing large-scale sales deals with industrial or infrastructure clients.

Key Job responsibilities:

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets for capital equipment projects.
  • Identify and qualify high-potential opportunities in target markets.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders (engineering firms, project consultants, procurement teams, etc.).
  • Conduct client visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations.

Project-Based Selling:

  • Manage complex sales cycles including RFP/RFQ submissions, bid preparation, and contract negotiations.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to tailor solutions to customer requirements.

Market Intelligence:

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to inform product positioning and business development.
  • Provide feedback to product and marketing teams for continuous improvement.

Reporting & Forecasting:

  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts, and activity reports using CRM tools.
  • Track KPIs such as lead conversion, deal size, and sales cycle duration.

Job requirements and technical skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales of capital goods (e.g., industrial machinery, equipment, turnkey solutions, etc.).
  • Proven track record of managing complex, long-cycle projects and closing high-value deals.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand engineering concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software and MS Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings and site visits.
  • Excellent English language skills
