We are looking for an HR Generalist (M/F) for Slovenia and Croatia
. Our client is a successful international company with a long-standing tradition. The company operates in more than 27 European countries and the selected candidate will be responsible for HR matters in the smaller branches in Slovenia and Croatia. Active knowledge of English and at least 3 years of experience in the HR field is expected. Candidates with active knowledge of Croatian will have an advantage, but this is not a requirement.

Job Description:

  • Performing operational HR tasks in Slovenia and Croatia and cooperating with the HR department at the company's headquarters (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, etc.),
  • Executing recruitment processes in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team (e.g., organizing medical examinations and referrals, preparing employment contracts, organizing occupational safety training, etc.),
  • Maintaining working time records and preparing payroll data,
  • Participating in HR processes such as performance management, training and employee development,
  • Supporting employee engagement initiatives and internal communication,
  • Ensuring compliance with local labor laws and internal HR policies,
  • Maintaining employee records and HR data in the SuccessFactors system,
  • Handling basic employee inquiries and collaborating with the HR Manager on more complex issues.

Requirements:

  • University degree in social sciences (e.g., Human Resources Management, Economics or a related field),
  • 2–3 years of experience in HR administration or general HR functions,
  • Fluent in Slovenian (ideally also Croatian) and English,
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills,
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization and with remote teams,
  • Previous experience in an HR department supporting both white and blue collar workers is a plus, but not required.
