NOTE: This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week in the office.
About The Opportunity
The Product Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing effective programs to drive awareness and adoption of Transoft's Civil & Transportation product lines for success within transportation communities. Reporting to the Manager, Product Marketing, this role regularly liaises with the Business Unit Lead, Product Management, Regional Marketing, and the Sales teams to understand the voice of the customer, including their expectations, needs, pain points, and overall product experience. By gaining deep insight into the market and target audience, the Product Marketing Specialist develops go-to-market plans and creates compelling content and messaging that positions our products for success.
In This Role You Will Be Expected To
- Assist with developing the product marketing strategy, including marketing plans and content;
- Understand the target market to develop messaging and content that is specific to their needs;
- Utilize data, customer insights, and input from industry experts to guide decision-making and align marketing strategies and tactics with the overall product strategy;
- Develop marketing initiatives to enhance product awareness and drive product adoption and loyalty;
- Contribute to the development of product assets that support the customer's journey and showcase the unique value propositions, features, and benefits of the products;
- Provide sales enablement assets and support to the Sales teams;
- Report on metrics and effectiveness of product marketing activities;
- Conduct market research, gather industry trends and insights to support content creation and marketing efforts.
About You
- You have a Degree or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Technical Writing, or another related field;
- You have 3+ years of product marketing experience within a B2B software or SaaS environment;
- You ideally have some technical product marketing experience, though this is not required;
- You have 2+ years of experience working with marketing automation and analysis software;
- You may have experience in developing global campaign content;
- You have experience working with technical products, ideally within an engineering environment;
- You have the ability to analyze data and product insights to make data-driven decisions;
- You have experience with project management, productivity, or task management applications (e.g., Asana);
- You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and tactfully;
- You have strong interpersonal skills and collaborate well with cross-functional teams;
- You can juggle multiple projects with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure within a team setting;
- You are fluent in English (verbal and written communications), but other languages would be an asset particularly Slovenian, Czech, Serbian, German, and French.
