QA Automation Engineer

We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer to  help the company's automation strategy and help scale testing practices across the engineering organization.

You'll work hands-on with tools like Cypress, Postman, and CI/CD pipelines, while also guiding a small QA team in defining best practices, improving coverage, and ensuring quality across all releases.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical ability and wants to have a real impact on product quality and delivery speed.

• Define and evolve the company's test automation strategy and frameworks.
• Help the design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test suites across web and API layers.
• Collaborate closely with development and DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD integration.
• Mentor and support QA engineers, promoting best practices in automation and testing.
• Analyze system performance and proactively address quality bottlenecks.
• Drive continuous improvement across all stages of the delivery pipeline.

• 5+ years of experience in QA automation (web and/or API testing).
• Strong hands-on skills with Cypress (or Playwright), Postman, and related frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Good programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript (or Python).
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working in an international environment.
• A proactive mindset and a passion for improving quality through automation.

Location: Maribor 

Hybrid work model: 2 days per week required in the office.
