Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for Quality Assurance Engineer to support development of software products in the event ticketing industries.

WHAT WILL YOU DO

• Test printing and payment flows
  — You'll dive deep into our cross-platform printing and payment application, understand how it interacts with printers, payment terminals, and browsers. Your focus will be on ensuring these integrations work flawlessly in real-world environments.
• Validate releases and support rollouts
  — You'll play a key role in preparing and validating new releases before they reach customers. Together with the engineering team, you'll help coordinate deployments, verify functionality in production-like setups, and support customers during rollout.
• Combine manual and automated testing
  — While much of your work will involve detailed manual testing, you'll also identify opportunities for test automation, improving coverage and reducing repetitive work.
• Focus on quality and reliability
  — You'll work closely with developers to reproduce, isolate, and document issues, ensuring stable and high-performance releases.
• Co-own the product
   — You'll have ownership of the QA process. From planning test strategies to monitoring live rollouts, your input will directly shape product quality and user satisfaction.
• Research and explore
   — New technologies and development approaches are the reality of our field. Continuous learning is developer's essential quality. We'll make sure you have the ability and time to focus on your growth as a developer.

TECH STACK

• Cypress/Playwright
  — The most popularly used open source automation tools are also our primary tool of our choice. We use it to script and run test scenarios across various browsers.
• Enterprise tools for everything
   — GitLab as source control, CI/CD pipelines. Jira for issue tracking. Confluence for documentation. Slack for internal communication. IDE of your choice with paid subscription.

YOU WILL BE A GREAT FIT IF...

• You have worked before in our tech stack
   — We don't expect you to have a background in everything we use, but we do expect you to have a strong fundamentals in software testing. You also understand the concepts of software development and have worked before on similar projects.
• You have 5+ years of experience
   — You have minimum 5 years of working experience in similar role as Quality Assurance Engineer.
• You're highly productive while writing quality code
   — We release updates regularly. You can break down big projects into small deliverables, while caring about the outcome and quality.
• A genuine interest in technology
   — You have a desire for improvement and progress. You understand every technology has a trade-off.
• Independent and empathetic communicator
   — You are independent in written and verbal communication (English). You're thriving in a team environment.
