Backend Engineer

We're looking for a Backend Developer to design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance applications that directly contribute to business success. Your main focus will be our Excel import/export service, a key feature that enables users to add and update their data in their LeanIX inventory, as well as our data governance features. You'll work on our backend microservice, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that make an impact.

• Develop secure and scalable microservices in Kotlin using Quarkus, Postgres, Kubernetes and more.

We're looking for a customer-focused engineer who thrives on:

• Delivering production-ready code daily

• Communicating clearly and effectively in English
• Discovering requirements for new topics even when the scope is initially unclear or ambiguous

• 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Good knowledge in Kotlin or Java backend development
• Proficiency in software design principles (e.g., SOLID) and applying them in practice
• Familiarity with cloud development
• Familiarity with data-driven decision-making is a plus
• CI/CD pipeline experience (a plus)
• Open, proactive communication style
