Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Postdoctoral Researcher in Synthetic Biology for Biomedical Applications (immunotherapy or rare diseases), located in the Ljubljana Metropolitan Area. The Researcher will be responsible for conducting hands-on laboratory work, designing and executing experiments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance projects in synthetic biology and its biomedical applications. Daily tasks will involve molecular modeling, lab experimental tesearch, data analysis, documentation, and presenting findings in both written and verbal formats. The role also includes staying current with scientific literature and contributing to the development of innovative techniques and solutions.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in laboratory skills and research methodology
  • Knowledge in the fields of synthetic biology, and biomedical application
  • Experience in protein or RNA biochemistry and design is an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • PhD in Biology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related field
