Based in Koper, Slovenia, we specialize in manufacturing high-precision components such as pedal boxes, hinge groups, and hand brakes. Position: Planning and Logistics Manager

General Qualifications

• Graduated from Engineering faculties of universities (preferably Industrial Engineering).
• Possesses advanced English skills; knowledge of German is considered an advantage.
• Preferably holds European Union citizenship.
• Has at least 8 years of professional experience in planning and logistics within the automotive supplier industry.
• Has a minimum of 3 years of experience in team management and leadership.
• Knowledgeable and experienced in SAP S/4HANA modules including PP, PPDS, SD, MM, and EWM.
• Proficient in using MS Office applications efficiently and effectively.
• Familiar with and experienced in working with quality and management systems such as IATF 16949, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills; result- and solution-oriented.
• Competent in KPI tracking, reporting, and planning improvement actions.
• Experienced in material management, internal logistics, external logistics, import, and export operations.
• Open to continuous development, strong communication skills, and team oriented.

Job Description

• Manages production planning processes in collaboration with relevant teams to ensure operational continuity.
• Coordinates raw material and auxiliary supply processes to ensure timely availability in line with production needs.
• Organizes shipment, delivery, and export operations in compliance with customer expectations and legal regulations.
• Oversees warehouse and inventory management processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and traceability.
• Monitors and ensures continuity of SAP S/4HANA system processes, identifying and resolving system-related issues proactively.
• Plans and optimizes packaging operations to ensure alignment with customer requirements and operational efficiency.
• Coordinates material flow and logistics support across production areas to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
• Allocates tasks within reporting teams, manages workforce planning, and monitors team performance for continuous improvement.
• Prepares annual budgets and ensures operational activities align with financial targets and cost efficiency goals.
• Ensures all plant activities comply with quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards.
• Drives a culture of continuous improvement across processes and supports the development of productivity-enhancing projects.
