About The Role
As an R&D Tire Shipment Specialist, you will oversee experimental tire shipments across global routes, from plants and warehouses to external partners. You'll play a critical role in maintaining quality, efficiency, and accuracy in shipment and warehouse processes, while working closely with cross-functional teams to solve problems and drive improvements.
What You'll Do
- Track and manage experimental tire shipments across plants, warehouses, and testing facilities
- Troubleshoot shipment and documentation issues, including customs and RPA errors
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and oversee warehouse operations at key sites
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve recurring shipment and warehousing issues
- Communicate shipment status and process updates to stakeholders with clarity and transparency
- Drive continuous improvements in shipment and warehousing processes
What You'll Bring
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Operations, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain or logistics
- Strong communication skills; fluent in English
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and travel as required
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, Logistics, Operations, or related field
- Knowledge of cross-functional and end-to-end Global Product Design and Development (GPDD) tire shipment and warehousing processes and systems
- Experience with RPA error management and shipment tracking systems
- Proven ability to collaborate across functions and solve complex problems
