Medical Advisor Oncology
to support its expanding medical team in Slovenia.

As
Medical Advisor Oncology
, you will serve as a key member of the country medical team, primarily focusing on field-based activities and external stakeholder engagement. You will support medical-scientific communication with healthcare professionals, contribute to medical education initiatives, and help ensure the successful implementation of medical strategies aligned with brand objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other stakeholders in the oncology field.
  • Act as a scientific expert in oncology, delivering clear and compliant medical information to HCPs.
  • Support internal training for field and commercial teams on disease areas and therapeutic innovations.
  • Provide medical insights to inform strategic planning, including product launches and life cycle activities.
  • Assist in reviewing promotional and non-promotional material in line with internal procedures and local regulations.
  • Organize and support scientific events such as advisory boards, medical education programs, and symposiums.
  • Respond to unsolicited medical information requests and support local patient access programs where applicable.
  • Monitor and share competitive intelligence and medical developments in oncology.
  • Contribute to local implementation of clinical research activities, including investigator-initiated studies.
  • Support local pharmacovigilance and compliance in all medical activities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Advanced scientific degree required (MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent in a life science discipline).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant medical affairs experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Previous experience in
    oncology
    and an existing network of relevant KOLs is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively to both internal and external audiences.
  • Familiarity with medical compliance, promotional material review, and local regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience supporting product launches is a plus.
  • Fluent in English & Slovene
  • Willingness to travel regularly within the country.
