Head of Finance and Accounting (m/f)

At Prohuman d.o.o., we are looking to expand our team with a Head of Finance and Accounting (m/f). Prohuman Slovenia is part of the Prohuman Group, headquartered in Budapest, providing HR solutions to over 1,000 business partners across several EU countries. Job Description:

  • Preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the owners, as well as reporting to regulatory authorities,
  • Budget planning, forecasting, and monitoring of variances,
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations,
  • Knowledge of both Slovenian Accounting Standards (SRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), for harmonization of local reports with international requirements,
  • Payroll processing, VAT, and other tax obligations,
  • Management of the company's cash flow and financial assets,
  • Ensuring ongoing compliance with accounting standards and tax legislation,
  • Cooperation with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other financial partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum level VI/1 education in finance, accounting, or economics,
  • At least 5 years of experience in finance and operational accounting (including payroll),
  • Leadership experience is not a requirement, but an advantage,
  • Strong knowledge of Slovenian financial reporting standards, accounting principles, and tax regulations,
  • Knowledge of the HR field is desirable but not mandatory,
  • Proficient in English,
  • CV in both Slovenian and English,
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
