Thundersoft is looking for a Manual Smartphone Test Engineer in Slovenia to join our team of experts in the telecommunications industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing smartphones and cellular networks in the field using various testing tools such as QXDM and ELT. The candidate should have a strong understanding of 4G, 5G networks alongside with IMS, VoLTE, and VoWiFi technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Cooperation and communication with local mobile operators.
• Conduct manual testing of smartphones and cellular networks in the field.
• Analyse and troubleshoot issues with mobile devices and network connectivity.
• Work closely with the engineering team to identify, report, and verify issues.
• Reporting daily about the project progress.
• Perform testing on various cellular technologies such as 4G, LTE, 5G, IMS, VoLTE, and VoWiFi.
• Use testing tools such as QXDM and ELT to collect and analyse network logs.
• Provide clear and concise feedback to the team on testing results.
• Collaborate with team members to identify areas for process improvement.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
• 6 months - 1 year of experience in manual testing of smartphones and cellular networks.
• Strong understanding of 4G, LTE, 5G, IMS, VoLTE, VoWiFi, Handover, Redirection, Reselection
• Knowledge of testing tools such as QXDM and ELT.
• Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues with mobile devices and network connectivity.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate testing results and feedback clearly and concisely to team members.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• English B2, Local language
