RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain the server-side of web applications.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable server-side infrastructure.
  • Work with front-end developers to integrate server-side functionalities with the client-side.
  • Implement and maintain data storage solutions and databases.
  • Develop and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the client-side and the server-side.
  • Optimize server-side performance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software products.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation related to the server-side.
EXPECTATIONS
  • Knowledge of PHP programming language.
  • Strong understanding of server-side programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
  • Experience with database technologies such as SQL, NoSQL, and ORM frameworks.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • At least a basic understanding of server systems operation and a strong knowledge of working in the Linux terminal.
  • Experience in planning, implementing, securing, and maintaining APIs.
