Purchase Specialist

HIT d.d. Nova Gorica is hiring a PURCHASE COMMERCIALIST (m/f) to work in Nova Gorica.

You will be responsible for:

• conducting supply market analyses, monitoring prices, trends and quality,

• searching, evaluating and maintaining a supplier database,

• negotiating with suppliers and selecting optimal offers,

• monitoring the quality and reliability of suppliers,

• managing complaint procedures and resolving deviations,

• preparing, editing and archiving purchasing documents,

• organizing optimal logistics routes,

• collaborating within the company with other departments (gambling and hotels, technical services, accounting, legal services...),

• participating in improving procurement processes.

Key competencies and experience:

• completed VI. degree (economics, commercial or related field),

• at least 2 years of experience in the field of purchasing/commercial,

• fluent knowledge of Italian and English (spoken and written),

• advanced computer skills (MS Office, ERP knowledge is an advantage),

• excellent negotiation and communication skills,

• analytical approach, dynamism and a strong purchasing orientation,

• team-oriented, precision and proactivity in solving challenges,

• ability to act quickly and make decisions in time-sensitive situations.
