KIG d.o.o. (located in Ig) is seeking a Head of Finance and Accounting, who will lead accounting and financial activities, including the preparation of legally required reports, analyses, and budgets for several legal entities at the position:
HEAD OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT
We expect from the new colleague:
- Level VI–VII education
- At least 5 years of advanced experience in finance and accounting, with emphasis on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit procedures
- Knowledge of tax legislation, compliance, and internal controls
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Infor ERP, Pantheon)
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- Good understanding of Slovenian accounting standards
- Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Planning, organizing, and leading work
- Preparation and implementation of the annual business plan
- Training, leading, scheduling, and organizing
- Conducting annual interviews
- Participation in the preparation of annual investment plans, depreciation replacements, education, revenues, costs
- Ensuring coordinated operation within and between units/departments and timely, quality communication of relevant information
- Proposing and implementing innovations
- Preparation, implementation, and supervision of work standards
- Supervising and evaluating work
- Ensuring optimal allocation of working hours, annual leave, time tracking, and overtime usage
- Ordering goods and managing inventory
- Preparing price lists
- Ensuring quality of services or products
- Cooperation with external contractors
- Maintaining the appearance and order of the entire complex
- Economical management of company assets
- Organization of regular inventories
- Advising company management
- Preparing reports and analyses for the department
- Ensuring compliance with implemented management systems according to standards
- Performing similar and other tasks as instructed by superiors
