head of accounting

We are looking for a motivated individual who has leadership skills, has a strong sense of people and experience in accounting. The position is based in Koper or Nova Gorica.

Job Description:

• Managing employees at the unit – focusing on achieving results and goals while positively influencing employees,
• ensuring financial results and growth of the unit (handling inquiries, commercial aspects),
• collaborating with management and other units, participating in leadership meetings,
• conducting internal training sessions,
• performing accounting tasks for clients and delegating work to employees.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of accounting,
• at least two years of independent work experience in accounting,
• computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook) and active proficiency in at least one accounting software,
• technological proficiency,
• strong communication skills, professional appearance, and the ability to work independently,
• persistence, diligence, dedication, motivation, and the ability to set and achieve individual and team goals.
