To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Backend Developer who will support us in implementing our innovative software solutions for the insurance industry and successfully executing tailor-made IT projects.

With 30 years of experience in IT development, we offer proven methods for secure, low-risk, and cost-efficient software implementations.

The V'ger product family includes standard software and individual solutions for insurers, financial service providers, and FinTechs. The award-winning Novum Cloud Platform also enables the use of third-party applications as a SaaS solution.

Who are we looking for?

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Backend Developer who will support us in implementing our innovative software solutions for the insurance industry and successfully executing tailor-made IT projects.

Your responsibilities:

  • Developing mission-critical individual and standard software for insurers
  • Implementing and customizing our software solutions in customer projects or in-house
  • Advising and supporting clients in using the software

Your profile:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable professional qualification
  • Professional experience in developing applications based on JavaEE
  • Solid knowledge in the areas of Java development (Java EE), relational databases (SQL), as well as modeling and design
  • Experience in IT projects within the insurance sector is a plus
  • Flexibility and occasional willingness to travel for customer projects
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, and a good knowledge of German is required
