In this role you will

  • Creatively lead a high-performing team of game designers operating on various games within the LiveOps team.
  • Drive the team to design and deliver features that match the intended game experience for the Talking Tom & Friends target audience.
  • Implement the LiveOps roadmap and vision together with other LiveOps leads, ensuring their alignment with department and company goals.
  • Act as a source of support, knowledge, and experience for your team.
  • Lead regular performance reviews, deliver constructive feedback, and actively support the professional development of team members.
  • Closely collaborate with the lead of Game Design Department Game Design Department Lead in aligning expectations and driving the team forward.
  • Cooperate with cross-department teams and managers to ensure the development process moves forward smoothly, all while creating and maintaining high-quality products in LiveOps.
  • Improve the game design workflow with new approaches, and share knowledge with the team and with peers.
  • Keep up to date with current mobile market trends and game design practices.

What we're looking for

  • Creative, innovative mindset, with strong logical and analytical thinking, and good attention to detail.
  • Ability to produce coherent game design systems and structures.
  • Good understanding of player behaviors and motivations across target audiences.
  • Ability to analyze game metrics in order to shape LiveOps frameworks and improve game KPIs.
  • Good understanding of people management and communication, and the ability to lead, motivate, and drive people to success.
  • Passion for mobile games.
  • Knowledge of Freemium/free-to-play (F2P) games is a must.

Your experience

  • 1+ years of experience as manager of a game design team with a minimum of three direct reports.
  • 4+ years of experience as a game designer, preferably working in LiveOps on a successful game.
