The job

Are you a seasoned IT professional with deep technical expertise and a passion for delivering impactful solutions? We're looking for a Senior System Engineer to join our innovative and collaborative team.

This is a remote role supporting a diverse client base across Belgium, where your experience and leadership will help shape robust IT environments.

Is that you?

  • You are an experienced IT professional.

  • Senior-level experience (minimum 5 years) as a System Engineer
     in 
    at least 5
     of the following domains:

  • Datacenter Management

  • Windows Server OS

  • HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise) solutions

  • VMware

  • Veeam

  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, VLANs, etc.)

  • Active Directory / Microsoft Entra ID

  • Microsoft 365

  • Azure

  • Citrix

  • Preferably, you hold 
    associate or expert-level certifications
     in these areas—or are committed obtaining them.

  • Bonus skills include 
    PowerShell scripting
    , 
    Linux administration
    , and 
    containerization technologies
     like 
    Kubernetes
    .
  • Experience working in 
    hybrid IT environments
    .
  • A collaborative mindset—you enjoy sharing knowledge and best practices with peers.
  • Strong communication skills in 
    English
     (additional languages are a plus).
  • A customer-first attitude and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Your work

As a 
Senior System Engineer
, you will:

  • Join customer teams for both long-term and short-term assignments.
  • Manage IT systems and applications, ensuring a stable and secure infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex ICT issues with clear communication and documentation.
  • Execute service requests, including system changes, patches, upgrades, and add-on implementations.
  • Lead or contribute to infrastructure projects, including new deployments and migrations.
  • Document solutions thoroughly to support efficient operations and knowledge sharing.
  • Advise clients on technical and process improvements, including automation of recurring tasks.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
