Sustainability Coordinator

HIT d.d. Nova Gorica is hiring a Strategic Controlling Specialist (m/f) who will be responsible for monitoring sustainable development within the Hit Group (based in Nova Gorica).

You will be responsible for:

• participating in the preparation and coordination of reporting in accordance with ESRS (ESRS 1, ESRS 2, thematic standards),

• collecting and organizing data (KPIs, evidence, audit trail),

• co-creating goals and monitoring progress in decarbonization (GHG Scopes 1–3),

• supporting due diligence processes in the supply chain,

• updating and implementing sustainability policies,

• organizing training and workshops for employees,

• cooperating with external consultants, auditors, and internal departments.

Key competencies and experience:

• Completed VII level of education in economics or other fields,

• Knowledge of English and Italian,

• Good knowledge of Office tools,

• Knowledge of CSRD, ESRS, CSDDD, GHG Protocol, and EU taxonomy,

• knowledge of finance and accounting is desirable,

• goal-oriented, proactive, organized, accurate, and good communication skills.
