Role Description
We are seeking a results-driven Head of Sales to establish and lead our sales function from scratch. This role is fully focused on building sales through professional channels — installation companies, HVAC contractors, and trading partners such as construction materials retailers and distributors.
At the initial stage, the Head of Sales will be the only member of the sales team and will take full responsibility for revenue generation. The second and all subsequent sales team members will be hired only after strong personal results are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive direct sales of air conditioners, heat pumps, and related solutions to installation companies, contractors, and trading partners.
- Manage the complete sales cycle: prospecting, partner meetings, product presentations, commercial negotiations, and deal closure.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with installation companies and retail/distribution partners to secure repeat business.
- Ensure accurate execution of contracts, orders, and partner agreements.
- Provide regular reporting on sales activities, pipeline, and performance.
- Define and implement effective sales routines and partner management processes to enable future team growth.
Expectations in the First Phase
- Personally achieve consistent sales results with installation and trading partners.
- Build a reliable partner network to generate recurring revenue.
- Establish a repeatable, scalable partner sales process.
Growth Path
- Once strong personal results are demonstrated, the Head of Sales will:
- Recruit and train the second and all subsequent sales team members.
- Transition into a leadership role while continuing to manage key accounts personally.
- Scale the sales department step by step into a structured, high-performing partner sales organization.
Qualifications
- Native Slovene speaker (or fluent in Slovene at a native level, both spoken and written).
- Proven track record of successful sales of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems or other technical equipment.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with B2B clients.
- Ability to independently build and grow a partner sales channel from scratch.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and sales-oriented.
Working Conditions
- Salary: to be discussed and agreed upon during the interview.
- Working hours: 07:00 – 15:00 (including a 30-minute lunch break).
- Company-provided equipment: laptop, mobile phone, and car.
