Mechatronics Engineer

Our client is a well-established technology company that, within its robotics division, develops comprehensive solutions for internal logistics automation based on mobile robotic platforms. These platforms enable autonomous material handling in warehouses and production facilities, while integrating with a wide range of existing systems and ensuring safe human–robot interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing complex mechatronic systems for mobile robotics
• Developing innovative multidisciplinary solutions
• 3D modeling using PTC Creo
• Prototyping, concept validation, and preparation of test scenarios
• Testing mechanical assemblies, electric motors, and sensors
• Designing, manufacturing, and maintaining test equipment
• Preparing technical documentation
• Handover, supervision, and support during initial production
• Managing product versions throughout the entire product lifecycle

Key Competencies:

• At least 5 years of experience in the field of mechatronics
• Excellent understanding of mechatronic systems as a whole
• Strong proficiency in 3D modeling (advantage: PTC Creo)
• Ability to prepare 2D technical documentation
• Hands-on experience with workshop tools
• Experience in implementing real industrial solutions
• Fluent in English

Desirable but Not Required:

• Knowledge of sheet metal bending technologies
• Experience in selecting and testing electric motors
• Knowledge of scripting languages (for calculations and automation)
• Understanding of machinery safety standards
• Basic knowledge of German
