Head of Public Affair

policy and building strategic relationships with external organizations are pivotal in
shaping a sustainable future. That's why we're seeking a dynamic and visionary
Head of Public Affairs to lead our engagement with government bodies, NGOs,
academic institutions, research labs and more.

In this role, you will be the keystone to ensuring Demia stays informed on the most
critical changes in climate regulation and standards development. You will work
directly with the CEO to define Demia's product and communications strategy in
response to what is learned from various external interactions. You will also be the
face of Demia when it comes to interacting in Working Groups, think tanks, and
other circles dedicated to guiding the development of sustainability and carbon
markets with secure and sovereign data infrastructure and tools.
You will also be the co-lead for a growing team of external facing hires and
responsible for coordinating and informing other departments and leadership
effectively. This will include setting goals for Demia with regard to innovating and
deploying secure AI solutions, secure and private data management in alignment
with data privacy regulation, and more.

Job Responsibilities 

● Policy Advocacy: Act as Demia's ambassador in various climate and data

policy discussions, advocating for data-driven sustainability solutions and
shaping policy directions.
● Strategic Partnerships: Develop and nurture relationships with external
organizations to identify collaborative opportunities, strategic alliances, and
research partnerships.
● Grant Acquisition: Source and apply for grant opportunities, aiming to
secure funding at least 3x the salary, to support Demia's mission and
research efforts.
● Communication Strategy: Collaborate with the CEO and Board of
Directors to develop and execute a comprehensive communication
strategy showcasing Demia's leadership in climate technology innovation.
● Thought Leadership: Position Demia as a thought leader in climate and
sustainability technology through industry publications, keynote speeches,
and participation in relevant forums.
● Case Studies: Develop case studies and success stories that highlight the
real-world impact of Demia's solutions on sustainability and environmental
initiatives.

Job Qualifications 

● Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Environmental Sciences, or a related

field (Master's preferred).
● Proven experience in public affairs, policy advocacy, or related roles,
ideally in the environmental or sustainability sector.
● Strong understanding of climate policy, environmental regulations, and
sustainability issues.
● Excellent communication and networking skills.
● Track record of successful grant acquisition.
● Exceptional strategic thinking and relationship-building abilities.
