We are looking for a
Billing & Data Analyst

to join our
Business Intelligence team

at BlueOcean Gaming. In this role, you will manage a variety of responsibilities – from preparing and processing billing data, creating invoices, and analyzing discrepancies, to producing reports that support key business decisions. You will also play a vital role in optimizing processes and ensuring the highest standards of data quality.

Your profile:

1+ year analytics experience with SQL/MongoDB, advanced Excel, some BI/Python knowledge, strong English, detail-oriented, proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn. 

Your goal:

Ensure accurate, efficient billing and reporting while resolving discrepancies, safeguarding data quality, and optimizing processes. 

Your task:
 
Extract and process billing data, configure clients/providers, prepare invoices, investigate issues, perform financial analysis, create reports, and improve workflows.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be:

Billing management:

• Extracting, preparing, and processing billing data (from MySQL databases).
• Maintaining accuracy through manual entries and adjustments (promotions, corrections, extra costs, deductions).
• Configuring new providers and clients with contractual terms (monthly minimums, license fees), and preparing/verifying invoices.

Financial analysis & reconciliation:

• Working with the Finance team on cost control.
• Investigating discrepancies between internal data and provider invoices.
• Coordinating with providers and internal teams (including Support) to resolve issues.

Reporting & analytics:

• Extracting data from MySQL, MongoDB, and Tableau.
• Analyzing and presenting results using Excel (pivot tables and advanced functions).
• Preparing reports for management and clients; maintaining and updating automated reports using Python scripts.

Process optimization & data quality:

• Proactively detecting and fixing potential data or workflow errors.
• Ensuring data integrity, and suggesting improvements to optimize billing processes, boost efficiency, and reduce risks.

• At least
  1 year of work experience

in analytics and familiarity with databases (SQL, MongoDB).
- Completed
Bachelor's degree or higher

(preferred in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or other similar).
- Advanced knowledge of
Microsoft Excel

(pivot tables, VBA, and more).
- Familiarity with
BI tools

(Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of
Python

is a plus.
- Strong
written and spoken English

skills.
