They are searching for an expert in IT infrastructure. The team is located in Slovenia and covers internal projects at the level of a group of six countries: Denmark, Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, and Slovenia.

As an infrastructure specialist, you will be a key player in the management and improvement of their IT infrastructure. You will work together with a talented team in planning, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure solutions that support the operation and strategic initiatives of the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Leading activities and identifying specific IT solutions,
  • Planning and implementing solutions in complex information systems,
  • Analyzing infrastructure and the state of existing networks,
  • Advising on network upgrades and optimisation,
  • Providing support to internal users,
  • Monitoring technology developments in the field,
  • Testing the functionality of new solutions,
  • Resolving complex technical issues,
  • Performing specialized installations and assisting with others,
  • Developing content and conducting lectures for internal and external needs,
  • Gathering and documenting useful information, including unusual configurations,
  • Sharing knowledge through internal training and presentations,
  • Assisting the sales department in designing and verifying complex offers,
  • Implementing new settings for internal users,
  • Verifying the operation of new or more advanced equipment
EXPECTATIONS
  • Education in the field of computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or another relevant discipline,
  • At least 5 years of work experience in similar positions,
  • Fluent knowledge of the English language,
  • Adaptability, independence, proactiveness, reliability, responsibility, precision, perseverance, and the ability to work in a team,
  • Excellent problem-solving skills,
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Candidates with the following experiences will be preferred:

  • Advanced technical knowledge of server hardware, operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V), and storage technologies, archiving,
  • Professional familiarity with network protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, VLAN, VPN),
  • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CompTIA Security+) are advantageous,
  • Desired experience with automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Ansible).
