They deliver solutions and 24-7 managed services to customers with complex network, data center, cloud, IoT, and mobility requirements. They offer first-class technical competencies and insight and support of their customers' business-critical technology systems across the entire lifecycle of their technological ecosystem, from design and implementation to operation and optimisation.
We are strengthening their group platform team and are now looking for a platform Operations Lead, to be responsible for co-creating their platform, tackling and monitoring clients' managed services platform across the Group.
- Experience designing, implementing, and managing private cloud solutions using Vmware and Kubernetes (optional), ensuring optimal resource utilization, scalability, and high availability.
- Proficient in using Ansible for automating configuration management, deployment, and orchestration tasks, resulting in consistent and reproducible infrastructure across the private cloud environment.
- Expertise in establishing CI/CD pipelines tailored to VMware environments, integrating automation to accelerate the delivery of applications and updates.
- Hands-on experience implementing Infrastructure as Code principles with tools such as Ansible, creating automated and version-controlled infrastructure deployments.
- Familiarity with containerization using Docker within VMware environments and orchestration with tools like Ansible. Experience with kubernetes
- Dedicated to incorporating security best practices within private cloud architectures, including access controls, network segmentation, and continuous monitoring. Experience with docker and kubernetes security. Knowledge about Microsoft AD and security
- Understanding Linux and Windows operation systems, responsible for patching and upgrades
- Adept at leading cross-functional teams in the design and implementation of private cloud solutions, fostering collaboration between development and operations teams.
- Successfully optimized operational processes within private cloud environments, improving efficiency and reducing manual interventions through strategic automation.
- Proven ability to lead incident response efforts within a private cloud context, minimizing downtime and implementing preventative measures based on incident analyses.
- Developed and executed strategic plans for private cloud infrastructure scaling, disaster recovery, and business continuity, ensuring resilience in the face of operational challenges.
- Make sure platform is compliant with latest security standards (ISO 27001, ISAE 3402, NIS2
- Excellent command in English, articulate and concise, written & verbal
- Strong communicator with great interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel within Europe to the company offices in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Netherlands, Germany and UK
- Education in the field of computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, or other relevant fields,
- At least 7 years of work experience in similar positions,
- Fluent English language skills,
