About the Opportunity The role is to teach Computer Science in our Secondary school and lead the development of technology across both Primary and Secondary in a middle leader role. Our teachers are responsible for inspiring and enthusing students in their development of knowledge and skills within Key Stage 3/4/5 and in their preparation for IGCSEs and A Level examinations.

The successful applicant will be an outstanding classroom practitioner, able to demonstrate a proven commitment to the highest standards of teaching and learning and student achievement; someone with drive and passion who believes in creating a unique, inspiring and outstanding place for learning, able to excite and challenge students of all abilities to make great progress. Middle Leader experience is preferable, but not essential.

Applicants should also be prepared to contribute to the wider community aspect of school life, which is expected of every member of the teaching staff. Applicants must have a relevant degree, teaching qualification and experience of successfully teaching Computer Science across Key Stage 3/4/5.

Experience of working with EAL learners from a variety of cultures will be an advantage.

As an English school specialising in the English National Curriculum to a diverse international student population, strong English language is an essential requirement and applications from first language level speakers of English will be preferred.
