Trade Activation Executive Slovenia

Position:

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting market, sales, and brand analysis, and building brands' equity via trade activation programs. You will also ensure sustainable long-term growth while achieving objectives and plans (AP/LE) for the assigned market.

Within 6 months you will:


• gain hands-on experience in owning and managing the trade activation process for in the Slovenian market.

What will you do:

  • Execute trade programs and events in the assigned market in line with brand expectations, values, and positioning.
  • Communicate with and support event agencies for all trade events, ensuring timely delivery of materials to meet objectives. Monitor market trends, recommend action plans to address performance gaps, and advise on portfolio optimizations.
  • Track RSP changes, new launches, product changes, and SKU delistings, ensuring alignment with the Line Manager.
  • Provide relevant insights during the forecasting process to improve accuracy. Coordinate trade activation investments, follow up on PR/PO/GR creation, PPO procedures, marketing material delivery, and distribution.
  • Track invoices daily, prepare PR templates, and control cost spending. Monitor trade activation investment KPIs and track budget spending. Organize and hold tenders with the Slovenian team and Adriatica PPO to select the best creative agencies, preparing detailed briefs for each brand initiative.
  • Ensure smooth cooperation with agencies to achieve trade program objectives and integrate updates into the digital application.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales functions.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in trade marketing / marketing.
  • Fluency in Slovenian and English (written & spoken).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Basic financial knowledge; analysis & problem solving skills.
  • Experience in project management;
  • Computer literacy, knowledge of MS Office.
