Lead Animator

Weâre working with a Slovenian based studio who are looking for a Lead Animator to join their team as they begin work on a brand-new PC and console title.

As a Lead Animator you will look after the Animation team, encouraging creativity and teamwork. You will also be hands on creating and refining high quality 3D animations for both humans and creatures.

The studio is based in the beautiful and vibrant city of Ljubljana, where you will be joining an experienced, team of talented animators who share a passion for creating multiplayer games.

Your responsibilitiesâ¦

• Manage members of the Animation team to provide direction, mentorship and feedback on animation work

• Create, develop, and refine 3D character animations for humans and creatures

• Take animations from creation to engine implementation

• Work closely with the Graphics team and Producers, ensuring animation assets are delivered on time and to a high level of quality

The skills and experience youâll bring to the roleâ¦

• 4 or more years of animation experience in the games industry

• Proven keyframe ability and polished skills

• A keen eye for animation principals and detail, helping to bring smooth, dynamic and reactive animations to the game

• Good knowledge of animation implementation in Unreal, Unity or proprietary engine

• Portfolio showing all aspects of your skills

• Effective English language skills, both written and spoken

• Able to commute to or relocate (with support) to Ljubljana, Slovenia

• Managing internal and/or external Animators

• Combat specific animations

• Rigging and skinning for characters and weapons
